Healthcare is a Human Right
Healthcare is a human right. There is a healthcare crisis in the United States, with countless people unable to access life-saving care due to cost. We deserve to live in a nation where everyone - regardless of income level, immigration status, prior health conditions or ability to pay - has access to quality healthcare. The solution is putting in place a single-payer, publicly-funded system of universal, equitable, non-discriminatory health care to guarantee access to comprehensive, quality care for all.
A Single-Payer System for California
California Guaranteed Health Care for All (CalCare) would include medical, dental, hearing, vision, mental health, reproductive, and long term care, amongst other benefits.
